Eclipse is an innovative series of monomer-free denture base materials developed to improve patient satisfaction with associated appliances, while also simplifying device fabrication processes.
Eclipse is a light polymerizable system that utilizes three resins layered together to fabricate a denture (i.e., Baseplate, Set-up and Contour Resins). Denture fabrication is streamlined since the lost wax technique is not required and there is no need for investing, flasking and boilout.
The cured denture/nightguard material aesthetics are as good as or better than that obtained with acrylic devices and exhibit excellent mechanical properties. For complete dentures, the baseplate used for the occlusal rims becomes part of the final denture. This enables patients to feel the final fit prior to delivery.
Since Eclipse denture base material has less then half the shrinkage of traditional materials, it provides an accurate, comfortable fitting denture. And, it’s great for patients with oral sensitivities.
